Romance is a genre that explores the complex side of love. The plot in romantic films usually centres around and obstace that is preventing love between two people. The obstacles in Romantic Dram films can range from a family's dissapproval, to forbidden love, to ones own pasychological restraints. Many romaantic films end with the lovers seperating because of the enormity of the obstacle, the realisation of incompatibility, because of fate or because the two lovers end up together.

Romantic Comedy

          Romantic-Comedy is a genre that attempts to catch the viewer's heart with the   combination of love and humour. This sub-genre is light-hearted and usualtl places the two protagonists in humourous situation. Romantic Comedy films revolves around a romantic ideal, such as true love. In the end the ideal triumphs over the sitauation or obstacle.
