Survival Stories

These stories portray a future where the human race is facing a threat, such as zombies or vampires, and they must survive against the chances

Ghost Stories

These are stories where the dead come back to life and haunt the living; sometimes the ghosts are trying to teach the living a lesson

Slasher fiction

Slasher stories tell of deranged killers who are out to punish regular people.

Action and Adventure

These are sometimes considered two different genres, however, the two go together: they include stories with thrilling sequences and obstacles that must be overcome before accomplishing a goal.
