I Love You Beth Cooper

Hayden Panettiere stars as Beth Cooper, a high-school cheerleader who's plagued with romantic advances from the valedictorian of her class in the teen comedy I Love You Beth Cooper. Chris Columbus produces and directs the Fox Atomic production.

This film is rated 15 by BBFC, due to crude sexual content, underage drinking, drug references and slight violence which is not suitable for a younger audience.

The genre of the film is classed as comedy. this differs slightly from our film idea but both our film idea and this film share similar underlying themes, such as the storyline of one boy falling in love with a girl, but the girl does not love him back; which is the general basis of our film idea.

Reviews for this film have a general consensus of it being extremely average, but they do seem to agree that it conveys, with a comedic twist, how it can be for the girl you like not to feel the same way.

A range of films deal with this using comedy, and our film is presented with the opportunity to render itself to comedy. Our film idea would fit well as a romantic comedy due to the character's situation being rather funny.
